  • I'm relocating to the Lower 48 this spring. Gas betwen $3-$4 a gallon feels cheap to me. My habit of parking the car 2 to 3 days a week will continue for the foreseeable feature. Planning a garden for veggies, solar panels to help the power bill.

  • All of the above. As a frequent flyer the hidden fees get under my skin every time I buy a ticket.

  • I won't stay at a place that charges fees for things I don't use. When I'm making reservations I ask the question. And then I let management know that I'm changing my plans because of the extra fees.

  • I gave in and turned it on. Having lived here 30+ years I had to see what she said. Sigh. Leave the political comments out; enjoy the animals and the scenery. I admit to turning it off 30 minutes into it. It's a family reality show. I hope that tourism enjoys the publilicty.

  • Anchorage has a terrible mass transit system. Routes that run once an hour. No shelters from the weather. And a mayor who wants it more.

  • I have friends that insist if I want to talk to them I have to send an email via Facebook. Sorry. And I have friends who insist I 'must' use Twitter on my cell to stay in touch. Sorry. There are places where technology isn't needed, or wanted.
